Hubby & I just bought a Nikon 5200 as an early Christmas present & I LOVE it.
On my wish list – a low light lens (for moon and aurora photography), a good tripod and an extended use battery (the standard one doesn’t last long enough when shooting sport)

  2. Love that you guys are recording again! Love the podcast. I am a Nikon girl. I started out with the D3000 and last year upgraded to the D5100. I love it. I currently have a 50mm 1.8, a 35mm 1.8, and a 55-200mm f4. I asked Santa (hubby) for the Sigma 17-50mm 2.8 for Christmas. I am not a professional, but I am a scrapbooker and serious hobbyist!

I really enjoyed listening to you gals talk about gear this episode. Keep up the awesome work and can’t wait for the next one!

Thx tons for all the info this week Ladies. I am really debating btwn the T5i and going up to the 70D. I have been in the Rebel world for awhile, on my third now and loving my T3i for the last couple years but wonder if its time to move out of the Rebels and take the jump to the 70D with all the new WiFi etc capabilities. So thx again for more food for thought.

I go with the 70D! It is a bigger body, though, so go hold one. I think you’d love the jump.
