I am SO GLAD you started this website for all of us doing the Project 365/52, etc–it’s just what I’ve been looking for to get inspiration! Thanks so much!
Katrina! I love your wordpress design. Can you share who did your wordpress for you. I’m looking for someone to change mine over to wordpress? Thanks much! Sue
Thanks Sue! I used Elegant Themes for the design and set it up myself. Lots tutorials and help to set it up!
I absolutely love the lists for Project 365 and am looking forward to jumping into it this year. I’ve found all of your ideas with the exception of one for January … is there one? Thank you!
Thank you Crystal! I didn’t start them until February. Would be nice to have a complete 12 though.
Just stumbled upon your website. Love! I’ve been reading through your blog, the website and just realized you offer classes. Exciting and thinking to register!!! What camera do you use? Will you talk about different lenses? I only have a the kit lens and a fixed lens – will that do?
That will totally do!
I use three different Canons, but have worked with Nikon friends to be able to cover all brands as much as possible
And, I’m not afraid to look in your manual!! I take a practical, take better photos without breaking the bank approach. So glad you found us!
katrina: please leave us an email, so that we may contact you about setting up class that starts May 10, 2012…I need to email you about forum/gallery access…thanks! Kay (chinalifebooks)
Hi Katrina, Just to say thank you for such beautifully narrated and easy to understand videos. I have just recently purchased the low Light tutorial from TrueScrap but was wondering if there is any transcript/notes that accompany the video as I am a bit of a paper girl and need to see the instructions in writing. Is a copy of the video available for download because to practice photography one cannot sit in front of a computer all the time. Please help if you can.
JennyR
Thanks Jenny for purchasing the TrueScrap video. You are absolutely right about needing to get away from the computer to practice. TrueScrap videos aren’t available for download, but let me send you a little something that might help you out.
I would love to become a member, but I cannot get past the part where you enter the words. I just tried 20 times and it said every single one was wrong, even though I typed exactly what was in the box. I’d love any suggestions.
Hi Nicci,
I’ve disabled Captcha on the forum so you can now sign in without having to figure it out. As long as we aren’t overwhelmed with spam I’ll keep it that way. My apologies for the frustration. We’d love to see you in the gallery/forum!
this is awesome!!! I’m soooo happy I found this! I did the project last year and was proud for finishing but not really proud of the pictures I took. So I’m doing the project again for next year!!! Thanks for the inspiration!! Its preparing me for next year!!!!!
Merry Xmas to you and your family. I wish you a great year 2013. Thank you for the daily pictures. I really appreciate it.
Elise
Thank you Elise! I am so glad you enjoy them!
Merry Christmas!
Hi Katrina!!!
I’m excited to see this site and join! I am looking forward to doing my first Capture Your 365. I love seeing familiar faces on your team of some of the ladies I took classes with. Very fun!
I was wondering if one day you could put together a class on external flash photography. lol! I know you touched briefly on it in your exposure class. I own one now and had to use it for a wedding and I had no idea what I was doing. Thank goodness for shooting in RAW and Lightroom.
Do you list what’s in your camera bag on this site? I need a new lense similar to my 18-55mm kit lense but better obviously!
Thank you and I am looking forward to the new year!

Hi Katrina. I was checking out Anna Aspnes blog the other day and noticed your header “Inspired 2013 a 12 month photo adventure” and was intrigued with the font used for the words “inspired 2013″ She has referred me to you to find out if this font is downloadable anywhere? I do scraps for myself, not commercially. Thanks Kay.

Hi Katrina,
I was wondering if you will be offering any beginning photography classes. I got a camera for Christmas and would like to know how to use it better. Also I’m interested in doing photography and I need a place to start. Thank you!!
