Ready For 28 Days Of Photos?
365 is easier when we break it into small bites! 28 days? You can do that! No problem.
February is a fabulous month for photography. Love is in the air. There are hearts and celebrations from Mardi Gras to Chinese New Year! Who can resist photographing a sweet treat or two?
We’ve got our four repeating prompts again this month!
- Feb. 9 – A twist on your self portrait
- Feb. 3 – A little color
- Feb. 6 – A technical prompt
- Feb. 16 – A person or portrait
Whether you are counting your 365 or just joining us for a quick 28th challenge, there is a little something for you!

How can you use the list? Follow three quick steps!
Download the February Challenge List to your favorite device or print it for quick reference. I post mine right next to my desk. Each month I post a new list to challenge you.
Keep it handy. It will help to keep you thinking about your photos every day!
Go sequential if that’s your thing or pick one that inspires you. Go out on your own if you need to. There is no wrong way to use the prompts!
It’s your project. Inspiration can arrive in many ways. Go with it.
Create your image with whatever camera you have! Phone, dSLR, point and shoot. Whatever camera you have works.
Whether you take 28 photos this month or only three you’ve got options. Sharing helps keep you motivated all year long. You can:
- Upload them to the CY365 Gallery for a little gallery love.
- Tag them on Instagram or Twitter with #CY365.
- Post them to our Flickr group.
- Post them to the CY365 Facebook page.

I am having fun with this and have been doing a weekly recap on my blog of the photos from the past week. Don’t always get to the list everyday, but sure am trying to make an effort at it. Thank you so much for the challenge!

Not sure how advanced you work on the challenge list for each month….But I thought of an idea for March. I am a HUGE Dr. Seuss fan and considering his birthday is on March 2, I thought that there should be a challenge to honor him in some way. I am excited for the February challenge….its defiantly going to be a challenge for me though…hahahaha.
