December Project 365 Idea List

Lights. Ornaments. Presents. Smiling children.
Is there a month that asks to be photographed more than December?
It is my favorite month to pick up my camera and focus on elves and stars and trees and yummy treats.
This month’s list is filled with inspiration to kick your creative behind.
Capture the wonder of someone in front of the tree or the wonder of traffic lights backed up waiting to get into the mall. There is really no limit to the way you can interpret December’s prompts.
How can you use the list? Follow three quick steps!
Step One: Get The List
Download the December list to your favorite device or print it for your fridge. I keep a printed one at my desk for quick reference.
Step Two: Pick A Prompt
Go sequential if that’s your thing or pick one that inspires you. Use them as a family scavenger hunt for your December Daily. Be literal or take some creative liberty!
Create your image with whatever camera you have!
Step Three: Share Your Photo
Sharing is caring, right?! Whether you take 31 photos this month or only three, upload them to the CY365 Gallery for a little gallery love or tag them on Instagram with #CY365.
And Then…
Tell me which of the prompts is your favorite in the comments below.
Oh…and just a little side note. If you have ever considered your own 365 project, but been a little intimidated, December is a great month to practice for the new year! And the worst that happens? You end up with a batch of lovely December photos!

Great list!
I just found out about your challenge…..and was wondering if you were going to do one next year for 2013??
Glad you found us Stacy! We’ll absolutely be continuing into 2013. Expect the January list the last week of December.
Great! I can’t wait to get started!
The mustache one has me most curious but I think my favorite may end up being first Christmas cuz I’m hoping to meet my great nephew (? … My niece’s new baby, I think that makes him my great nephew) on my surprise visit home for the holidays!
So every time I think about that one I get excited all over!
PS – Thanks Katrina!!!
You are welcome! You’ll laugh when you see the mustache photo!
