Want To Take Better Photographs of Your Holiday?

Do you want to take better photographs of your holiday festivities?

Are you tired of your holiday photos being too dark or blurry or yellow? Do you know there are better ways to use your camera on Christmas morning, but you can’t figure them out on your own?

December is one of my favorite months of the year.  I’m pleased to offer Capture Your Holiday Through The Lens at a very reduced cost as my gift to you. In seven lessons packed with techniques, I’ll help you create images of Christmas you will treasure. Classes are presented in a step by step format for photographing:

  • your tree
  • your decor and lights
  • Christmas morning
  • low light situations
  • light bokeh
  • your food and beverages

and more!

Some frequently asked questions about class:

Is class exactly the same as last year?

I’ve updated the lesson format and made a few adjustments. Most of what we covered last year will be covered again this year.

Can I take this class with any camera?

Most of the seven lessons can be completed using any camera. A few techniques I cover are easiest with a dSLR. I give point and shoot settings whenever possible.

Do I need to be online at a specific time for anything?

Not at all. Lessons will be available in the classroom every two days. There is a forum and gallery available to share your comments and photos with other class participants.

As a special bonus all class participants will receive a discount coupon for Anna Aspnes’ FotoFocused Template Album! I can’t wait to show you the amazing template pages she’s created.

Class begins December 6th. Registration absolutely closes December 4th. Register today.

Did you take last year’s Capture Your Holiday class? What did you love about it?

I signed up and can’t wait!! Also, will you be repeating your exposure class anywhere, anytime soon! I’m so bummed I missed it!!

  2. Yay! I am so excited for this!!

  3. I took last year’s class, and was amazed that for the first time, I was not only off auto, I was *totally* off auto by the end of the 7th lesson. Shortly thereafter, I upgraded from my “hybrid” Sony DSC-H9 to my first DSLR, and am on to my second. Katrina – you make it all so simple. I can’t wait to refer back to last year’s lessons with my new camera and see the amazing images I come up with this time around.

Woo hoo! I’m in! And I just got my first dslr Tuesday. (It’s an early birthday/Christmas present.) I’m so glad to be taking this class. I had gotten as far as I could with my little 6 year old point-n-shoot. Now I get to step it up a notch!

I think I need to sign up for this class. My Christmas photos never seem to come out right (lots of yellow huge to them, not the “look” I was trying to get, etc.) and the price is right!
