How Community Can Inspire 365
Posted by Katrina Kennedy on Mar 13, 2011 in Blog | 2 commentsTaking a photo everyday can leave you teetering on the edge of burnout, lacking ideas and inspiration, tired of photographing the coffee cups and pot holders in your house. Or, it can leave you inspired, filled with creativity and desire to shoot more and more.
Connect with people interested in photography, creativity, or Project365 can help your inspiration. Share your photos. Take part in challenges. Whether you shoot for a particular challenge or grab from your archives, showing others your photos can be the gentle nudge needed so you keep going. If you can’t keep up with challenges, use them to inspire ideas for your own photography. Don’t limit yourself to just 365 challenges.
A few of my favorite places to share and be inspired by others include:
I Heart Faces – a weekly themed contest. Photos feature a face. So much talent here.
Simple As That with Rebecca Cooper – a weekly reflection on the simple things in your life.
Shutter Sisters – daily inspiration with beautiful photos.
Sweet Shot Tuesdays – “a photo linky blog hop that encourages photographers to link up their best shot of the week.”
You can also get daily prompts emailed to you or share your photos in the CY365 Gallery.
Do you take part in challenges? Which are your favorite? Link us up!
Don’t forget your chance to win a seat in Your Life: Captured Through the Lens. Class starts March 22nd.

I like this photo.
I haven’t participated in any challenges yet but I might to try it out. At least it will give me another push to take photos and become a better photographer.
