I’m constantly amazed by the creativity of others. I’m playing with Zentagle right now. I’m thinking it will help me with my creativity funk.

Great podcast. I am in a little bit of a creative rut right now and I tried the advice of getting out of the house and going somewhere new. It helped a little bit. I also stumbled upon this article with some additional ideas that I may try.

Always love your podcast…here is a suggestion for a future topic – how to back-up while on vacation. I just returned from a 10-day trip only to have my SD card stop working on the last day. My IT brother-in-law thinks he can retrieve my photos…but I would love to know how people back-up on the go. I don’t have a laptop (plus who wants to travel with one and two young kids!!) so I am looking for non-laptop ideas. At home I have a great back-up system…honestly coming up with on while on vacation has not been top of mind.

    • That’s a great topic! We will put it on the list. We just recorded a vacation episode, wish I had seen this before we recorded!

I always love the podcasts, mini or long, love! Okay I guess I am one who does not know the “chicken in the house” story. Do tell sometime ( : To get my little brain thinking I like to cruise through Instagram or Pinterest which then leads me down long, deep holes of creativity ideas on food blogs and other creative avenues. Then I like to try something similar but somehow make it my own. Thanks ladies for all you do, chickens and children and podcasts!!

sideways comment, looking up duChemin’s quote but found John Cleese’s instead! “Creativity is not a talent. It is a way of operating.”

  6. Next number: wander with a purpose
For example photograph yellow or blue or tree branches or playgrounds
    Younget the idea
    Just wander…

  7. Hi and thanks for the mini podcast 🙂

What I really thought was cool was this quote: “Creativity is not a talent, it is a work ethic!” Powerful stuff and so true!!

Thanks for the podcast. I just discovered your site and love the idea of a photo every day.

Take care and all the best.

Great podcast! So glad you are out of your funk. I love to take a walk, it gives me time to think and make plans. I can’t tell you how many large family dinners I have planned during a walk.
I would love to hear a mini podcast on the “where I stand” monthly prompt. What is your setup? Do you use your DSLR or phone, do you use a tripod. I would love to hold something in my hand when I take this photo, but how do I use my camera/phone with one hand? Questions, Questions Questions
